Greedy Humans Should Be Put in Chains

I think the greedy human’s who are destroying our world around us should be the ones put in chains, not these other animals who have more respect for it than they do.  I mean anyone who advocates for the destruction of wildlife for the sake of their own greed.  They allege that they have a right to the land over these other animals, but I have to ask why they need the land.  People already have more than enough land, they already took land from other peoples who had more respect for the land and the environment.  Now these greedy people, just keep taking more and every time they end up destroy and polluting that land.  They should be criminalized.

UN gives final approval to biodiversity science panel

The UN has given final approval for the establishment of an expert panel to advise governments on science and policy issues relating to biodiversity.

Endorsement came at the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) will assess evidence on the causes and effects of nature degradation, and policy options.

Details will be worked out during the first few months of next year.

The new organisation is roughly modelled on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and will be similarly charged with providing “gold-standard” reports to governments.

Discussions on establishing it have been going on for more than two years, and a decision in principal was taken earlier this year; but final approval was needed from the General Assembly, as the UN’s governing entity. [read more]
