Mother Wolf Killed by Overtly Zealout Killers!
Teaching children to kill, who’s next?
Hundreds of wolves across Montana and Idaho could soon share the same cruel fate as Yellowstone’s Wolf 527 — unless they are swiftly granted federal protection. So please take the important wolf-saving action of sending this message to Interior Secretary Salazar while there is still time to call off the guns.
Tell the Interior Secretary, “Call off the Guns! Put Wolves Back on the Endangered Species List!” [take action]

Barnum and Baily Coming to San Diego
Tell them to go away, and free the animals they torture! Simple as that! It’s not a side show, its a show of tortured animals! Here we are trying to teach our children that killing and torture is wrong, yet we have a group going torturing the animals in their shows.
How would you like to be chained up all your life, with no place for peace or happiness?
The Circus is No Place for Animal Abuse
Behind the scenes, elephant trainer Tim Frisco instructs would-be trainers how to dominate elephants and make them perform circus tricks. “Sink that hook into ’em. When you hear that screaming, then you know you got their attention.” An elephant trumpets in agony as Frisco’s bullhook, with its sharp metal hook and spiked end, tears through her sensitive skin. Frisco, a Carson & Barnes elephant trainer, learned the trade from his father, a former trainer for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Click here to watch the video. What’s Inside Your Food?
I often wonder if people know what they are really eating? Strangely enough, some don’t even want to know, if it say’s chicken it must be chicken… Could be anything else that tastes like chicken. I’ve heard of lots of other things tasting like chicken as well.
Factory farms are perhaps the greatest source of animal suffering on the planet. But thanks to your support and PETA’s unrelenting efforts, this cruel industry is finally beginning to change.
From slaughterhouses to fast-food restaurants, PETA is winning humane reforms that are reducing cruelty to animals on a massive scale. No other organization in the world is doing more to change the lives of millions of individual cows, chickens, pigs, and other animals raised and killed for food. [Corporations should take better care of what you eat, though most of us know they're only in it for the money, and don't really care]
Dogs and Cats used as Shark bait is a Crime!
Disturbing when I see people treating “man’s best friends” so cruelly! Who will be next? Will they start using their neighbors as bait as well?
For the first successful conviction of a fisherman using a dog or cat as shark bait and €200 for each conviction thereafter
Dogs and cats are also involved in an assault on nature, this time
as victims and as bait. On the French island of La Reunion in the
Indian Ocean, fishermen have been using live dogs and cats as bait for
sharks. This practice is specifically outlawed by French law but the law, as
in many places throughout the world, is ignored by fishing communities
who apparently believe they are above the law.The dogs and cats have hooks passed through their snouts or through
the tendons in their legs and the hooks are attached to lines and rods.
The hapless animals are then tossed into the water where their
struggles attract sharks.Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has sent a message to the police
in La Reunion offering a reward of €1,000 (Euros) for the first
successful conviction of a fisherman using a dog or cat as bait and
€200 for each conviction thereafter. The following letter was sent to the Chief of Police on La Reunion Island: [read more]
It’s Baby Hunting Season
If you’ve been following the animal rights movement since the ’70s, you no doubt remember the massive worldwide campaign to end Canada’s despicable baby harp seal slaughter. Who can forget those heartbreaking ads showing fluffy white baby seals staring at the camera with their enormous eyes? Public outcry forced Canada to ban killing “whitecoat” baby seals in 1987, and the seal slaughter essentially collapsed. Then in 1996, that changed, as the Canadian government started subsidizing the massacre in an effort to rebuild it. It has since grown almost every year, and it is now the largest marine-mammal slaughter in the world, with up to 330,000 harp seals killed annually. [read more]
“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.” – Gandhi
Cruelty is a the precursor to more evil deeds, so if a country treats it’s animals inhumanly, it’s evidence of other serious issues.
Horrific Treatment of Primates
How can some one allegedly so intelligent treat other creatures so inhumanely? It’s a disturbing trend, and perhaps why America’s prison system is so over crowed. A society that breeds such hate is evident by overcrowded prisons.
Tucked into a rural section of Louisiana, a few miles from Lafayette, an unexpected compound springs from the landscape. It is the nation’s largest primate testing lab. The New Iberia Research Center, part of the University of Louisiana, houses more than 6,000 primates and one of the largest captive populations of chimpanzees in the world.
Viewer discretion advised: HSUS video of the New Iberia Research Center.“Nightline” obtained the results of a nine-month undercover investigation by the Humane Society of the United States. A Humane Society investigator took a hidden camera inside the New Iberia Research Center for most of 2008. The video shows what the Society says is the way monkeys and great apes are treated behind closed doors.[read on; see video]
MORAL VALUES

McDonald’s Cruelty to Animals
Interesting that an alleged “family” oriented food industry would commit such heinous acts of crime and abuse toward these creatures, who will be next?
In the slaughterhouses of McDonald’s U.S. chicken suppliers, birds are dumped out of their transport crates and hung upside-down in metal shackles, which can result in broken bones, extreme bruising, and hemorrhaging. Workers have the opportunity to abuse live birds, and birds have their throats cut while they are still conscious. Many birds are immersed in tanks of scalding-hot water while they are still alive and able to feel pain.
In 2000, following the launch of PETA’s (original) McCruelty campaign, McDonald’s made some basic animal welfare improvements. Since that time, the company has refused to eliminate the worst abuses that its chickens suffer in the U.S., including abuses during slaughter. This cruelty would be illegal if dogs or cats—or even pigs or cows—were the victims. [read more]
Please Stop Animal Cruelty! Vote Yes on 2!
This is sick! Animals DO NOT need to be treated this way. It’s just greedy Corporate Farms who don’t give a damn about the small family farmers or the animals!
It’s sick! Please Vote Yes on 2
These animals deserve a better life! Ask yourself if you would like to be caged in such a manner!
Where are the “morals”?
Farmers Support YES! on Prop 2 to Protect Rural Communities
Funny because those BIG Corporate farmers are the ones who are against Prop 2. Prop 2 would force them to take better care of these animals instead of treating them so inhumanly.
All the BIG Corporate farmers care about are their bottom line, they don’t even care about the small Family Farmers.
I know, remember all the small family farmers America used to have? Many of them are gone, why, because the BIG Corporate farmers who recieved subsidies during the Reagan Administration done well, all while the smaller family farmers couldn’t get any help.
What happened then, the small family farmers were forced to sell their farms to the BIG Corporate farmers.
Support Family Farms and go free range if you have not already evolved to vegetarianism.
Evolve!
